Jennifer, born VINCENT in 1942 in New-Malden (London suburb), has first made complete studies in French and Maths at Keele university in England, and then a degree in English at Toulouse and Algiers universities. She has teached in French schools and different organisations, and she is now retired.

Jacques, born in 1941 in Rennes, is a diplomed engineer in Chemistry after studies in the National High School of Chemistry in Toulouse. He has worked for Mobil oil in the petroleum industry, as a Research engineer in Normandy and as a commercial engineer in Bordeaux. Most of his carreer has been with CINCINNATI MILACRON where he has created and managed the Technical Service of the CIMCOOL division (cutting fluids). Before launching the WIDACOOL product line in the WIDIA branch bought from KRUPP. He is now retired.

They met and married (in 1966) in Toulouse, before going for 2 years in Algiers as part of the French programme of cooperation. They have lived for 2 years in Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon (Normandy)and 5 years in Gradignan near Bordeaux. They live now since 1977 in a detached house in Maurepas (Yvelines) half way between Versailles and Rambouillet.

They have three children and three grand-children.
